We hired Mr. Billy Sipe to represent my wife in 2009. After we had bad results with my wife’s first lawyer, I was able to retain Mr. Sipe who looked into my wife’s case and was amazed she was at the juncture she was at. Mr. Sipe was polite and allowed me to have input on my wife’s situation which her other attorney would not. My wife was charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor and Mr. Sipe was able to get the felonies dropped and the misdemeanor became Disorderly Conduct and my wife had no probation. Billy Sipe is an extremely experienced, aggressive, thorough, and what I would consider to be an expert attorney in his field of criminal law. In the Summer of 2010 I was charged with felony Drug Trafficking and taken to jail. I hired Mr. Sipe to represent me. Before I was even released from jail, Billy came to see me and explained what my situation looked like. A few days later he was able to have my bail reduced and I was out of jail shortly after that.
In the months following I had to attend several court dates. Because I lived outside of Arizona I was able to appear “telephonically”. Mr. Sipe handled all of the calls and each time he would call me beforehand to remind me of the date and time the Court would be calling. Each call I was represented by Mr. Sipe and then if I had any questions he would always take plenty of time to explain what was going on with my case. I never felt rushed; all of my questions were always answered gracefully and in a way I would understand.
I eventually decided to accept a plea bargain in hopes of not serving any more jail time. Approaching my sentencing date I was in more frequent communication with Mr. Sipe. I realized during this time, through doing some research, that my profession in my state of residence would be threatened should I be convicted of a felony. I immediately brought this to Mr. Sipe’s attention. Because I already entered into a plea agreement, Mr. Sipe was not sure there was too much that could be done, but that didn’t let that stop us. He met with the prosecutor to explain what I had recently discovered. At the last minute, within a week before my sentencing, Mr. Sipe convinced the prosecutor to change to plea agreement is a fashion which allowed me to avoid a felony conviction. Without Mr. Sipe this would not have been possible. As a result, my career is no longer at risk and I have been able to get my life back on track.
Throughout my entire experience, I know Mr. Sipe did 110% for me. I felt like he cared about my future, as much as I do, and was willing to work hard to help me in any way he could. He truly did an awesome job with my case and was very accessible to me as his client during the entire process.
